There is an abundance of training all over the web: training from your uplines, crosslines, and probably even your downlines! That being said, getting MLM schooling from these people, and going through training that actually works are two completely different things entirely.
I did a Few things that didnt work when I first started out in network marketing. Most of my upline told me to pick someone victorious in the company, and do what they did, and I would soon be successful, and reach the same level of achievement as they did. This method was guaranteed to secure my network marketing success.
This turned out to be a bit incorrect. As an example, try investing in Microsoft stock today, with the hopes of accomplishing the same returns the original investors did. Not going to happen. Investing in companies today is very different than it was 27 years ago – and the same theory applies to your MLM business, and the advice you are getting on how to build your business.
The rules of the game have changed since your upline first joined, different regulations, and methods of connecting with people have exploded the potential you have at your fingertips to become successful. Let me share a few key concepts on training that will help you produce results:
1. Sponsoring massive amounts of people – 30-40 years ago, you could get away with building a monster MLM downline with 30 or 40 personal enrollments. Nowadays, this model isnt very efficient, and worse yet, most network marketers dont enroll nearly enough distributors to build any type of passive income. You need to fabricate leverage in your business that allows you to sponsor 30-40 people per month, with the same amount of activity that you would normally expend on 1 “traditional” enrollment.
2. Get the training required to use technology to leverage your business. Let me put this in context; Which approach do you think would leverage your time and efforts more usefully Scenario 1 – You wander the stores you patronize, restaurants you visit, and convenience stores you go to, always on the prowl for that next new “prospect”, talking to 1 or 2 people at a time at the most. Scenario 2 – Talk to thousands of laser targeted customers per week, who are realistically looking to join the business that you are marketing To me, Scenario 2 sounds a lot better than 1.
3. Through guidance, use social media to unlock the secrets of creating leads on the internet. Comprehending the power of social networks, and how to generate traffic and leads is the future. Just as PPC (pay per click) built fortunes in the early 2000s, social networking has quickly and quietly over taken most marketing venues. I know, I know; your upline that enrolled you, and was sponsored into the business 5+ years ago has warned you about the dangers of online marketing. Just keep in mind that AOL was super popular, and was very good at what it did… but in the end another way of accessing the Internet came around, and blew AOL out of the water. The same holds true to old techniques and trainings; dont take them as the only way to market just because your upline told you to.
4. Your upline is your upline, but that does not mean they need to be your coach. Actively search out an instructor who is getting the results you want for yourself! Do not limit yourself to the same techniques and strategies that may be outdated, and worse, frustrate you and give you no results! Ask yourself this; if your upline lost their MLM business today, could they rebuild it back to where it was, tomorrow If the answer is no, or if you are unsure, you need to seriously seek out a mentor who is building their business TODAY, and knows and understands how to be profitable in todays market.
5. STAY CONSISTENT! I have been where you are my friend, but giving up is not the answer. You MUST stay consistent to assure your network marketing success. Consistency, day in and day out will build a tidal wave of success that you can ride into shore. You must stay consistent long enough to see the wave coming, then hold on to your horses!!
